NARC leader,Charity Ngilu has at long last hinted that she could join the Raila-Kalonzo-Wetangula lead alliance.
The former Lands minister revealed this while attending the burial of Hon.Wavinya Ndeti’s husband on Friday, 14 October at Mavoko in Machakos county.The outspoken politician urged the 3 CORD lieutenants who were in attendance to consider adding women in their coalition to make stronger.
“Raila,Kalonzo and Wetaa add more women to CORD.I only see 3 men in this coalition all the time.Where are the women?Ngilu posed.
Addressing the mourners ,the opposition leaders seemed to confirm that Ngilu was joining them as per earlier prouncements.
Wiper boss Kalon Musyoka promised Ngilu that the opposition was determined to ensure women have equal representation in their alliance ahead of 2017 general elections.
Ngilu who has also expressed interest in Kitui gubernatorial seat.Her entry into the race has sent jitters and shivers to other candidates among them the incumbent Kitui governor Dr.Julius Malombe and Senator David Musila.Political Analysts have opined that the Kitui gubernatorial race will cause an headache to Wiper leader and CORD Principal Hon.Kalonzo Musyoka.
