Machakos county Deputy Governor Benard Kiala’s missing daughter has been found alive and sound.
According to Nairobi CID boss Ireri Kamwende,the daughter to the deputy governor,Kathleen Nduku was found at a house in Mwiki-Kasarani area in Nairobi.Detectives have indicated that the she wasn’t abducted as alleged.
The 21 year old university student allegedly disappeared last week on Wednesday.A weird message that demanded Kiala to forgo his 2017 bid for Machakos gubernatorial seat was sent to his wife’s mobile phone.
Through his facebook page,Kiala thanked the Kenya Police for their professionalism and commitment to duty.His post read;
My daughter,Kathleen Nduku was rescued by the police this morning at Kasarani area,Nairobi.I wish to thank everyone who participated in the search;those that sent us message of encouragement and above all,those that prayed and fasted with us.I am grateful to the Kenya Police and various department that were involved in the searh;for their professionalism and commitment to duty.investigation s are ongoing.Thank you and God bless you All.
Romours have emerged that the girl was not kidnapped and that she was found in her boyfriend’s house.
