NGILU ASKED TO DROP CANDIDACY FOR KITUI GOVERNOR’S SEAT

Two Kitui MPs have pleaded with the former Lands CS Charity Ngilu to drop her candidacy for Kitui governetorial seat in 2017 elections and vie for senate seat.

The legislators Charles Nyaand(Kitui Rural) and Francis Nyenze(Kitui West) promised to back  Ngilu in her campaigns for the Kitui senate seat.

The lawmakers who were speaking on Friday during a campaign rally said will support and campaign for Ngilu if  she agrees to support the incumbent Kitui senator David Musila,who announced his bid for the governir’s seat before her.

Nyenze and Nyamai put the  incumbent governor Hon.Julius Malombe on the spot for  development failure to Kitui people.

The duo and other Wiper legislators are backing Musila to succeed Malombe come 2017.
