Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama has once again heeded former Lands CS Charity Ngilu,Wavinya Ndeti and Mutua Katuku to fold their “small” parties and join Wiper Party.
Muthama who was speaking on  Monday breakfast show at Musyi FM,a Kamba radio station applauded Makueni Governor decision of abandoning his Muungano Party to join Wiper.

“Ngilu is the NARC Party  leader ,Wavinya is  the CCU party leader and Katuku is the PTP party  leader and they all say they support Kalonzo for the presidential bid agenda then they should follow Prof.Kivutha’s footsteps by leading their parties and this has always been my stance!” Said Muthama.

The controversial senator who been behind the idea of bringing together all the Kamba leaders  to back Kalonzo is now rumoured that is not comfortable with Governor Kivutha’s presence in Wiper.                                                                       When asked about his absence in recent Wiper meetings  and the public speculation that he wasn’t happy with Prof.Kivutha’s presence in Wiper ,the senator said,” First,it’s not true that we have differed with Hon.Kalonzo as a section of media has been reporting.I support Kalonzo and Kalonzo knows that and nothing will change.I all will remain to support Hon.Kalonzo  and the unity of our Mamba people.”

When asked why he kept quiet at the point when NASA was in the prossess of looking for a flag bearer Muthama  said he was in NASA coordination committee and  speaking publicly as other leaders did  would  embarrass  and make him sound silly.
